Prof. Dr. Zulfqar Khan is a former Senior Analyst of the Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan. Earlier he had served as a Senior Research Fellow, Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI); professor of Security Studies/HOD of Strategic Studies; director of Office of Research innovation and commercialization (ORIC), and Dean of the Faculty of Contemporary Studies, National Defence University (NDU). He is author of three books including monograph, and over 50 research papers published in the leading national/international research journals. He received early education from Grammar School in UK, and for bachelor’s degree attended University of London & the University of Punjab. He has earned his Post-graduation in Social Science Research Methods, The Nottingham Trent University, UK; and holds MA in International Politics and Security Studies & Ph.D. in same discipline, University of Bradford, UK.
